Going to the Asian food store is one of my favorite things ever because there are always so many new and strange things to look at. Today in the produce section I happened upon these nasty looking things which I have since learned are a type of water chestnut. I'm kind of tempted to buy some next time now that I know what they are.
Aw, look at the tiny apples!!!
They are Red Delicious and Granny Smith, but they are the size of crab apples. So fun!
